Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at gppiping.com and your engagement of services provided by GP Piping Inc. ("GP Piping," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, requesting a quote, scheduling services, or communicating with us — including via text message — you agree to these Terms.


1. SERVICES

GP Piping Inc. provides residential and commercial plumbing services, including but not limited to: drain cleaning, leak detection, pipe repair, repiping, sewer inspection, water heater installation, boiler services, gas lines, and new construction plumbing in Monterey County and Santa Cruz County, California.

All work performed by GP Piping is subject to a separate service agreement or work order. These Terms apply generally to your use of our website and communications with us. Specific project terms, pricing, and scope of work will be detailed in your written quote or work order.


2. QUOTES & PRICING

Quotes provided by GP Piping are estimates based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary based on the actual scope of work discovered on site. We will communicate any changes to the estimated cost before proceeding with additional work.

GP Piping reserves the right to decline any service request at our discretion.


3. SCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, through our website, or via text message. We ask that you provide reasonable notice (at least 24 hours) if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future service.


4. TEXT MESSAGING COMMUNICATIONS

GP Piping uses a dedicated phone number powered by Jobber to send and receive text messages with customers. By providing your phone number and requesting our services, you consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from GP Piping related to your service, including:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Technician arrival and job status updates
  • Quotes, estimates, and invoices
  • Follow-up messages regarding completed work

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. Opt-out requests will be honored within 10 business days, though removal typically takes effect immediately. To re-enroll, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP.

We do not use text messaging for unsolicited marketing or promotional campaigns unrelated to your service history with us.


5. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. GP Piping accepts payment by cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.


6. WARRANTIES & WORKMANSHIP

GP Piping stands behind the quality of our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on labor performed, the terms of which will be specified in your work order. Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and equipment installed. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or work performed by others after our service.


7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

GP Piping's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. GP Piping is licensed, bonded, and insured in the State of California (CA Lic. #1079501).


8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your plumbing issue and property.
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area at the scheduled appointment time.
  • Notify us of any known hazards at the property (e.g., asbestos, mold, structural issues).
  • Review and approve any written quote or work order before work begins.


9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on gppiping.com — including text, images, logos, and service descriptions — is owned by GP Piping Inc. and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.


10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Monterey County or Santa Cruz County, California.


11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
